סיפורם של גריק ונועה ממשיך מהנקודה שבה הספר הראשון בסידרה נגמר.

כמו בספר הראשון, גם הספר השני העלילה מסופרת מזווית הראיה של נועה. וכמו בספר הראשון, גם בספר השני הפריעו לי חלק מהאירועים ההזויים שממשיכים את הקו של הספר הראשון בסידרה עם טוויסט שגורם להם להיות הזויים באופן קיצוני יותר. כדור השלג לא נעצר, נהפוך הוא, הוא צובר תאוצה ומשתולל חסר מעצורים.

עלילת המסתורין שסגרה את הספר הראשון נפתרת, אבל עלילות מתח ומיסתורין אחרות נפתחות ורק בשניים או שלושה פרקים האחרונים של הספר, הטרפת נרגעת. לאורך הקריאה הרגשתי בחלקים מהעלילה חסרת נשימה ובחלק אחר גיחכתי עד כמה מטופשים האירועים נקראים.

הספר נסגר באפילוג, 5 שנים לאחר האירועים שמתוארים בעלילה והוא לדעתי החלק הטוב ביותר בספר.

Griek and Noah’s story picks up where the first book ended.

Similar to the first book, the second book also narrates the story from Noah’s perspective. However, I found some of the hallucinatory events disturbing, which continue the storyline from the first book but with a twist that makes them even more surreal. The snowball effect continues to gain momentum and unleashes destruction without any constraint.

The mystery plot introduced in the first book is resolved; however, new suspense and mystery plots are introduced throughout the book. The predation only calms down in the last two or three chapters. While reading, I felt breathless during certain parts of the plot and laughed at the foolishness of other events.

The epilogue takes place five years after the events in the plot, and it is, in my opinion, the best part of the book.
