ביצוע מעולה! וואו הקאסט, שכולל את בילי קריסטל, פשוט מבריק
בוקר אחד נשיא ארה"ב מתעורר רק כדי לגלות שהוא מת. אחרי מו"מ עם מלאך המוות שמלווה אותו (בילי קריסטל) ניתנות לו עוד 17 שעות, ובדקה לחצות הוא אמור למות מוות סופי.
במשך כמעט שעתיים, העלילה מתארת את התמודדות נשיא ארה"ב עם הידיעה שזה יומו האחרון. בין לבין הוא נאלץ לטפל בסידרי העדיפויות שלו בחיים, לשכנע את אישתו שהוא לא מטורף (וכך גם את יתר העולם), לתקן את מערכת היחסים שלו עם בתו ולנסות ולהותיר מורשת שתיחקק בלבות כולם לאחר לכתו.
מה שצריך לדעת
מחזה אודיו קצר על נשיא ארה״ב שמגלה שנותר לו יום אחד בלבד לחיות. בזמן שנותר לו הוא מנסה לסדר את חייו, לתקן מערכות יחסים ולהחליט מה באמת חשוב להשאיר אחריו.
למי שאוהב דרמות אודיו עם קאסט מלא, הומור עדין, סיפורים על משפחה ומורשת וטקסטים קצרים שמצליחים להיות גם משעשעים וגם מעוררי מחשבה.
הביצוע הקולי פשוט מצוין. Kevin Kline, Annette Bening, Billy Crystal ושאר הקאסט יוצרים תחושה של מחזה חי, והאיזון בין הומור, רגש ומחשבה עובד היטב.
כמעט שום דבר. זה קצר, ממוקד ויודע בדיוק מה הוא רוצה לומר. המסר ברור מאוד, אבל מבחינתי הוא לא גלש להטפה.
כפי שכתבתי הביצוע פשוט מעולה. התמוגגתי מהאזנה. ישנם חלקים משעשעים אבל בעיקר מעוררי מחשבה והמסקנה הסופית היא לחיות כל יום כאילו זה היום האחרון שלכם, כי המוות אורב לנו בכל רגע. כל דקה של חיים היא בונוס, תעריכו ותחבקו את הרגע.

What a fantastic performance.
The cast, including Billy Crystal, is simply brilliant.
One morning, the President of the United States wakes up only to discover that he is going to die.
After negotiating with the Angel of Death who has come for him, he is given a little more time. By midnight, his life is supposed to come to its final end.
For almost two hours, the story follows the President as he tries to deal with the knowledge that this is his last day.
Along the way, he has to reconsider his priorities, convince his wife that he has not lost his mind — and eventually convince the rest of the world as well — repair his relationship with his daughter, and try to leave behind a legacy that people will remember after he is gone.
As I already said, the performance is excellent.
I absolutely loved listening to it.
There are funny moments, but more than anything, it is thought-provoking.
The final message is simple: live every day as though it might be your last, because death can arrive at any moment.
Every minute of life is a bonus.
Appreciate it.
Hold on to the moment.
The strength of Have a Nice Day is that this message never overwhelms the performance. The full cast keeps the story lively, funny and human, while the short running time prevents it from becoming sentimental or preachy.
It is a small story with a very simple idea, performed exceptionally well.
