אליסיה ובעלה רוב נפגשו בגיל 19 וחיו באושר עד שהוא נפטר מסרטן. רוב, ידע שיקח זמן עד שאליסיה תתאושש ממותו. הוא גם ידע שאליסיה לא תקפוץ לחיי סקס סוערים, ולכן הוא הכין לה 30 כרטיסיות של הנחיות / פנטזיות מיניות שאותן היא אמורה למממש עם הפרטנר הבא שלה.
שנתיים לאחר מותו של רוב, אליסיה מרגישה מוכנה להגשים את הצוואה של רוב. באופן מקרי, בדיוק הריסון קמפ עובר לגור מולה. הריסון הספורטיבי והמושך הוא הפטרנר המושלם: הוא סקסי, מושך, אינו מעוניין במערכת יחסים ארוכת טווח או איזו שהיא מערכת יחסים מעבר לסקס והוא מסכים להיות הפרנטר של אליסיה למשחקי הסקס.
ללא שום התחייבות, ולאחר שסיכמו בינהם את התנאים, אליסיה והריסון מתחילים לממש את ההוראות בקלפים.
בצד החיובי של הספר הוא מאוד קריא, הוא גם אמין והרעיון של אהבה שנייה עובד טוב לטובת העלילה.
בצד השלילי, העלילה מאוד צפוייה והדמות של אליסיה נוירוטית עם שפע תסמינים שהופכים את הדמות למעצבנת. מעבר לכך יש אלמנט מאוד פורנוגרפי בתיאורים, שאף על פי שהדמויות לא מקיימות יחסי מין מלאים עד השליש האחרון של הספר, הסופרת מתארת כל טיפת זיעה שנוטפת מהם בדרך לשם. כל התיאורים האלה מלווים בהמון דיבורים על סקס עם מעט מאוד מעשים כך שבשלב מסויים הבנתי את העיקרון וריפרפתי.
סה”כ קריאה מהירה וקלילה שלא מותירה יותר מידי רושם.

Alicia and her husband, Rob, met at 19 and lived happily until he died from cancer. Rob knew it would take time for Alicia to recover from his death. He also knew that Alicia would not jump into a tumultuous sex life, so he prepared 30 cards of instructions / sexual fantasies for her to fulfill with her next partner.
Two years after Rob’s death, Alicia feels ready to fulfill Rob’s will. Coincidentally, Harrison Kemp moves in across the door from her. The sporty and attractive Harrison is the perfect partner: he is sexy, engaging, and not interested in a long-term relationship or any relationship beyond sex, and he agrees to be Alicia’s preceptor for the sex games.
No strings were attached, and after agreeing on the terms between them, Alicia and Harrison began to implement the instructions on the cards.
On the positive side, the book is very readable and believable, and the idea of second love works well for the plot.
On the negative side, the plot is very predictable, and the character of Alicia is neurotic, with many symptoms that make the character annoying. Beyond that, there is a very pornographic element in the descriptions; although the characters do not have full sex until the last third of the book, the author describes every drop of sweat that drips from them on the way there. All these descriptions are accompanied by a lot of talk about sex with minimal action, so at a certain point, I understood the principle and flipped out.
All in all, a quick and easy read that leaves little of an impression.
